After trying to swaddle him using store bought blankets I found they were too small so I made my own.
You take 1 1/2 yards of flannel and make it square mine are cut 40X40.
Then you fold over the raw edges and sew all four corners. If you have a serger and know how to use it the edges would be better. Mine frayed a little. It is really simple and I made two of them in one nap time. I am using the extra material to make matching burp cloths.
Don't let his facial expression fool you he really does like it and it helps.
